I love being a veterinarian because I value being able to help strengthen the bond between owners and their pets through the practice of high quality medicine and through client education. I especially enjoy preventative care, internal medicine, opthalmology, and dermatology. Originally from Kansas, I joined the Waterville Veterinary Clinic in 2015. After receiving my undergraduate degree in Biology (with a minor in Spanish) from Kansas Sate University, I went on to graduate from Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2005. After graduation, I worked exclusively in the field of small animal veterinary medicine in Kansas, Virginia, and currently New York. When I’m not treating my patients, I can be found spending time with my friends and family, including my husband and two young sons, and my two mixed breed dogs. I enjoy hiking, camping, traveling, craft beer, and music. I am excited to have Central New York as my home I devote myself to ensure that the patients of Waterville Veterinary Clinic receive the best care possible.
