I am originally from Sauquoit, NY. My passion for working with animals started when I was very young and began riding horses. That passion exploded when I purchased my first horse, The Budmeister, at 11 years old. I knew shortly after that working with and helping animals (and their owners) would be imperative for experiencing happiness in my career. I went on to graduate with a BS in Biology from Le Moyne College in 2016. Shortly after graduating, I began working at Waterville as a veterinary assistant. I then went back to school and obtained my Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Oklahoma State University in 2021. I’m very glad to have ended up back at Waterville and feel so fortunate to be able to grow and hone my skills in such a supportive environment. My main areas of interest include working up more challenging internal medicine cases and performing surgery. When not working, I spend time with my family, horse, and two little beagles. I also enjoy skiing, hiking, boating and doing pretty much anything outdoors.
