Managing DVM
James Gilchrist
My passion for veterinary medicine began as a young boy riding on farm calls admiring my father’s love, dedication and hard work as a mixed animal veterinarian. I have a special interest in small animal internal medicine, dentistry and surgery. I graduated from Ross University School of Veterinary medicine in 2003 where I immediately joined my father, Dr. Dan Gilchrist, and Dr. Robert Alberding at the Waterville Veterinary Clinic. Upon graduation in 2005, I received advanced training in endoscopy, ultrsonography, medicine and dentistry. When I am not treating and caring for my patients, I can be found travelling, skiing, fishing and enjoying life with my family.
